October 4, 2012 Grace Chapman, Director of Horticulture for the Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden, presented a program entitled "Creating a Pollinated Ikebana Garden". The program provided in depth information on plants and garden design for a pollination garden. Rosalie Nachman, a teacher in the Ohara School of Ikebana presented line materials from her Richmond garden. The program entitled “Growing Line Materials” offered insight into line materials that can be grown by members and used for Ikebana arrangements.
