Terri Todd presented a demonstration entitled "At Home With Ichiyo". She is a certified master in the Ichiyo school of Ikebana, which is a contemporary school of Japanese flower arranging. She received her training from the director of the Ichiyo Art Center, Executive Master Elaine Jo. She has also studied with Akihiro Kasuya, the current headmaster of the Ichiyo School both here and in Japan. As founder and first president of the Asheville Ichiyo Study Group, she was appointed founding director of the North Caroline/Georgia Branch of the Ichiyo School by Headmaster Kasuya in 2006. She has a studio in Barnardsville and teaches private classes there 9 months of the year. She conducted the workshop entitled "Container Challenging" following the demonstration.
